APPROACH

Two roles. One point of contact.

Many projects lose time at the handovers. The business explains, project management translates, and tech builds something else. I do both, which keeps the distance between them short.

Steer

  • Project and program management, including international programs
  • Stakeholders up to C-level and works councils
  • Schedule, budget, risks and status reporting
  • User acceptance testing and rollout
  • Change management and training

Build

  • AI agents and chatbots
  • Automations, apps and integrations with n8n, Supabase and Vercel
  • Dashboards and databases
  • Clickable prototypes
  • Handover with documentation, so your team can carry on

Systems people like to use

A system only pays off when people actually use it. I build tools that teams enjoy using and use effectively, because I think ahead, bring my own experience and design around how people really work. At Worldline, two of my AI agents are among the five most used in the company.

  • Thinking ahead and testing early with real users
  • Easy to use: few clicks, plain language
  • Built into the tools your team already uses, such as Teams, SharePoint, browser or phone
  • Training, onboarding and improvements based on feedback

EU STANDARDS

Built to EU standards

Projects with AI and personal data need more than a tool that works. I plan the rules in from the start, together with your legal and data protection team.

GDPR

Privacy by design

Personal data only where it is needed, EU hosting where possible, and a clear record of which data flows where.

EU AI ACT

Ready for the EU AI Act

AI in recruiting and HR counts as high risk under the EU AI Act. At Worldline I applied it at business unit level, classified use cases and defined responsibilities. I plan and build every project in line with the EU AI Act and GDPR.

HANDOVER

Documented and handed over

Every project ends with documentation and a handover, so your team can run, audit and extend what was built.

ABOUT

Luca Beck

I have spent more than ten years making projects work in corporates and consulting: at Procter & Gamble, at Korn Ferry for Fortune 500 clients and most recently at Worldline, where I led an HR technology program across 40 countries with international teams and built two of the company’s most used AI agents. In 2025 I took on my first own AI projects alongside Worldline, such as a CV scoring engine for the recruiting platform teamther.ai. Since July 2026 I have been freelancing full time.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does a freelance program manager do for my company?

I take ownership of an initiative from planning to rollout: scope, schedule, budget, risks, stakeholders and vendors. When several projects depend on each other, I steer them as one program, so priorities and dependencies stay visible.

Do you work as an interim project or program manager?

Yes. I can lead a project or program as an interim manager for the duration of an initiative, or take on a clearly defined project. Scope and duration are agreed before we start.

Do you only manage, or do you also build?

Both. Besides steering the project, I build prototypes, automations and AI agents myself: with n8n, Supabase and Vercel, and with all major AI models such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. That means fewer handovers and faster proof that an idea works.

How do you make sure my team actually uses the new tools?

User adoption is part of the plan from day one. I design every system around the people who will use it: I think ahead, bring my own experience, test early with real users and adjust before rollout. The tools are easy to use and sit where your team already works, for example in Teams, SharePoint, the browser or on the phone. Training, onboarding and improvements based on feedback are part of every project. At Worldline, two of my AI agents are among the five most used in the company.

What does the EU AI Act mean for AI in HR and recruiting?

AI that is used in recruiting or for decisions about employees counts as high risk under the EU AI Act. That comes with requirements such as documentation, human oversight and informing employees. At Worldline I applied the EU AI Act at business unit level. In your project I plan these requirements in from the start, together with your legal and data protection team.

Which companies do you work with?

Tech companies and SMEs. My background is corporate and consulting work for Procter & Gamble, Korn Ferry with Fortune 500 clients, and Worldline. Many of my projects sit where HR, technology and AI meet, and the methods work in any business function.

How much does a project cost?

That depends on scope and duration. Usually well below what agencies and large consultancies charge, because you pay for one person who plans and builds, without handovers between teams. After the intro call you get an outline on one page with goal, scope, timeline and price, agreed before we start.

Which languages do you work in?

English and German, in writing and in meetings, including workshops and documentation.

Tell me about your project.

In an intro call of 30 minutes we clarify what it is about and whether I can help. Free and without obligation. For a demo access code, a short email saying who you are is enough.

I use your details only to answer your request. More in the privacy policy.
